Inspirational Words from Robyn Our Founder
For as long as I can remember, I’ve had the desire to have a better understanding of our purpose in life and the importance of self-awareness. The yearning for this understanding, led me on a journey of researching varying aspects of our ancestors, their medicinal practices, and how the environment impacted their lives. While doing my research, one thing that continuously resonated was the body’s ability to heal itself if we keep the body and mind in tune and give it the nutrients it needs. I have always had a passion for yoga and wholeheartedly believe in its benefits. After spending time researching and understanding the importance of the mind and body connection, my passion was reignited, and I set out on a journey to introduce yoga and its benefits in a safe and inclusive environment to different communities.
Although there are many types of yoga, I chose to specialize and become certified in Yin Restorative Yoga and meditation. When compared to other forms of yoga, Yin Restorative Yoga was aligned with my purpose, passion, and beliefs. Each and every day I call on the ancestors for guided wisdom, so that I may have the ability to sow those seeds of wisdom and action into the lives of self and others. Peace be unto all humanity, ancient civilizations, the indigenous people of the continent and various lands, Past, Present, and Future.
